I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree,

And a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made;

Nine bean-rows will I have there, a hive for the honeybee,

And live alone in the bee-loud glade.

 

나는 지금 일어나 가리라. 이니스프리 섬으로 가리라.진흙과 뒷가지로 이은 자그만 오두막집 하나 거기 짓고거기에 아홉 이랑 콩밭이랑 꿀벌 집도 하나 가지며그리곤 벌이 웅웅대는 숲 속에 홀로 살련다

 

And I shall have some peace there, for peace comes

                     dropping slow,

Dropping from the veils of the morning to where the

                     cricket sings;

There midnight's all glimmer, and noon a purple glow,

And evening full of the linnet's wings.

 거기서 나는 평화스런 맘 가지리라, 평화란 물방울처럼                        조금씩 오는 것이기에아침의 하얀 휘장에서 귀뚜라미 우는 곳까지 천천히                        방울져 떨어지리라그곳엔 한밤이 반짝이며 빛나고, 한낮은 자주빛으로 달아오르고저녁이면 홍방울새 나래짓 소리 가득하리라

 

I will arise and go now, for always night and day

I hear lake water lapping with low sounds by the shore;

While I stand on the roadway, or on the pavements gray,

I hear it in the deep heart core.

 

나는 이제 일어나 가야하리, 왜냐하면 밤낮으로 언제나

나는 듣노라! 호숫물이 물가에 나직히 철썩이는 소리를...
